Meet the Director - Roger Follett

Northwestern REC holds nominating meetings in the early spring time. In 2009, the following Cooperative member was re-elected by the membership to serve on Board of Directors.

Roger Follett - District 3

Mr. Follett’s first term began in 1985. He has fulfilled the requirements for NRECA Director Certification and a became a Credentialed Director in 2005.

Currently, he is a part-time employee of A Line Acoustics in Corry, PA, and works with his son, Morris, on his farm, the family farmstead. He has held local offices of supervisor and auditor, and is very interested in history, a topic he pursues very enthusiastically. He served in the United States Air Force after graduating from high school. He was released from active duty in 1952.

He married Janet Halfast in 1954. They operated a dairy farm along with his father. The family has been members of the Beaver Dam Mennonite church and he has been involved with church interests since 1954. He and Janet have two daughters, two sons, five grandchildren, and one greatgranddaughter.
