Clearly Brighter Teacher Grants

Program Objective

At Northwestern REC, improving the quality of life in our areas of influence is our mission. Through this program, we are able to reach out to children.

About the Program

Each year, Northwestern REC has thirty $100 grants available to teachers through its Clearly Brighter Teacher Grant program.

Fifteen grants are awarded each semester (Spring & Fall) to teachers for special class projects.

September grants - applications accepted January 1 - May 1

Eligibility

All active teachers in school districts, private schools and home schools, located within Northwestern REC's service territory. Teachers and schools do not need to receive electricity from the Co-op to be eligible.

The maximum grant awarded to an individual will be $100 per calendar year. This means a teacher is not eligible for a grant for both the fall and spring periods.
