We invite you to make a difference at Northwestern REC by serving on our Member Panel for Director Elections! This year, we are seeking five eligible members from Districts 1, 3, 4, or 9 to help oversee this important, member-driven process.

Your service on the Election Panel directly supports the cooperative's democratic process, including the election of directors at our Annual Meeting. Directors representing Districts 2, 5, 6, 7, and 8 will be elected at our 90th Annual Meeting, scheduled for Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., at the cooperative headquarters located at 22534 State Highway 86, Cambridge Springs, PA 16403.

Panel members attend two in-person meetings:

  • Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 4:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, August 5, 2026, panel meets at 6 p.m.

Members must be available for both meetings. A $75 per diem per meeting and mileage reimbursement are provided.

At the first meeting, the cooperative attorney will review panel responsibilities and the panel will select a chairperson. On the day of the Annual Meeting, the panel will gather at 6 p.m. to review and certify ballots before the meeting begins at 6:30 p.m., concluding around 7:30 p.m.

If you are interested in being one of the five members selected, or if you have any questions, please contact us by April 14, 2026, at memberpanel@northwesternrec.com or 800‑352‑0014.

In addition to meeting the requirements listed above, qualifications for the Election Panel include:
